Sigma Chi Photos

Former PSU administrator Otto Mueller called today (12/22) to say he will be coming in sometime in the near future to look for photos of the old Sigma Chi fraternity house.  These will be located in PVF/Students.  The old Sigma Chi house was on campus, on the corner of Pollock and Burrowes and was torn down in the 1980s.  Otto Mueller is the fellow for whom "Otto's" in Kern is named.

Andy Matter Wrestling File

Former head wrestling coach, Rich Lorenzo, will be in Special Collections tomorrow to view images from the Andy Matter athletic file, GST AJ/03/18.  The Matter folder file is located behind the reference desk with Rich Lorenzo's name on top of the file.  He is interested in possibly making a photo print of at least one image to frame for Mr. Matter's family.  I told him that arrangements need to be made with either Paul or Jackie.

Phi Mu Alpha records user

I just got off the phone from an officer for the Phi Mu Alpha Fraternity. He will be coming in next week with one of his fraternity brothers. However, his fraternity brother lost his membership card. He asked if they could still look at their records if the brother was escorted by an officer of the fraternity. I said that would be fine. Just make sure when they come in, that one of them has their ID card and is vouching for the other one.

FYI - Fraternity records can not be accessed unless the members show their ID card showing that they belong to the fraternity.
