Campus History Collection Web site link

The link on the libraries' digital collections Web site erroneously directs you to A Few Good Women instead of the University Park Campus History Collection.  Ken noticed it, I spoke with Karen Schwentner, and she put in a help desk ticket for DLT to fix it.  Apparently DLT moved some digital collections to a different server and the redirect page is pointing to the wrong place.

Nate Althouse

There will be 2 folders  (Dana Eikenberg), behind the  Reference Desk, for Nate Althouse, who will be in  either on Friday-27th or next week  to go through them.    He generally does his own scanning and downloading.   Also, he can copy any of the textual material as well.      Paul K.

Marker materials

David Hislop left Friday without indicating if he had finished working with the Marker materials.  They are in the hold room on a cart and can be returned if he doesn't come in.??

Request from Development Office

Ruth Donahue from the Development Office asked that if we have a group that will be visiting Special Collections, we notify the Development Office.  That way they can have one of their people attend and perhaps find potential donors.

Cowboy Sculpture

Patrick McGrady from the Palmer Museum of Art will be coming in sometime to photograph the cowboy/gaucho on a horse sculpture.  It is currently under the table by my cubicle in the Processing Room.  Please let me know when he arrives so I can get it out for him.  If I am not around, please get two people to move it as it extremely heavy.

Thanks, Paul D.

Milton S. Osborne Papers

Mr. Jerry Trescott plans to visit on Tuesday,
June 10, to research references to President
Eisenhower's Gettysburg farmhouse.

About 10 boxes from the Milton S. Osborne Papers
are being retrieved from the annex for his use. They
should be here in the hallway on Monday,
June 9.

He plans to call to confirm.

Symbolic Logic Text Book

The text book Symbolic Logic will be on hold for Professor Brunson's class.  Bill checked with the Professor and he said that his students choose not to purchase it, so they will be coming in and using the book.  Since it is University Archives material it can be photocopied.

Thanks,
Robyn

Athlete folder for Nate Althouse

All,

I left an athlete file ('Whitey' Von Neida), behind the Reference desk for Nate Althouse.  Nate will be in to scan some of the photos, sometime this week.  He always brings his own CD or flashcard. Thanks.  Paul K.
